Mr. DINH NGOC LINH
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic
of Viet Nam to Malaysia
Mr. Dinh Ngoc Linh was born in 1971 in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. He was appointed by Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Malaysia in February 2023. Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh arrived in Kuala Lumpur on June 6, 2023 and presented his Letter of Credence on August 17, 2023.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam in 1995 and served in several positions within the Maritime Affairs Department of the National Boundary Commission from a Desk Officer, Assistant to the Director-General, Deputy Director-General and to Director-General in 2020. From 2014 to 2017, he was Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister Counselor, Embassy of Viet Nam in Bern, Switzerland.
Mr. Dinh Ngoc Linh has legal background and been working in Foreign Services for more than 25 years. He graduated from the Hanoi Law School, Vietnam National University in 1994, obtained LL.M at the Vrije University Brussel, Belgium in 2000, and was partime researcher at the Centre for International and European Law, Faculty of Law, Vrije University Brussel, Belgium.
He is married and has two children. He speaks Vietnamese, English and French.
